Outdoor Lighting

Outdoor Lighting

Long-life solutions for roads, streets and open areas.

Weather-resistant lighting systems that make roads, streets, car parks, squares and open areas safe and comfortable to use.

At least IP65 is recommended for outdoor luminaires. Use IP67 for inground applications where water may collect, and IP68 for permanent submersion.

Full cut-off optics, correct mounting angles and avoiding needlessly high wattage prevent light escaping to the sky. Warmer colour temperatures are preferred near housing.

Spacing is generally laid out at three to four times the pole height and then verified against the road class. Final values are confirmed by photometric calculation.

On routes where running mains power is costly or difficult, solar systems provide a solution without cabling costs; adequate sunlight and correct battery sizing are essential.

Price varies with wattage, optical distribution, pole type and protection rating. Contact us for a quotation tailored to your project.
